What can I do to lose weight faster/baby fat by just walking everyday as exercise?

I also want to do zumba. So walking and zumba, but what diet should I follow and what important things I should remind myself to lose weight.
Basically, rules to stick too. Drink 8 glasses of water, no food after 7 pm, etc.
I want to lose my belly fat, so how do I go about doing that? I’m not fat, just average and want to be thin and in shape. I want to lose at least 10 pounds in one month.

Buy a pedometer, clip it to your belt, and aim for an extra 1,000 steps a day. On average, sedentary people take only 2,000 to 3,000 steps a day. Adding 2,000 steps will help you maintain your current weight and stop gaining weight; adding more than that will help you lose weight.
